Cob Lights

COB stands for Chip on Board, an LED design that packs several chips onto one module so the light comes out as a single even beam instead of scattered points. Orient Electric's COB range runs from Rs. 149 to Rs. 1,227, with wattages from 3W to 18W and warm white, cool white, and natural white options. This is the reason COB fixtures dominate false ceiling downlighting and focused spotlighting in Indian homes, useful for a puja corner or a reading nook that needs even light without shadows.

Because the chips sit tightly packed on one board, these lights also run cooler and last longer than older spotlights, so replacements come around less often.
