Know More About the LED Spot Lights ▾

LED spot lights are lighting fixtures designed to direct light towards a particular area rather than spreading light across the entire room.

They can be used to highlight artwork, shelves, display units, décor, architectural details or selected areas of a room. They can also support task lighting where a more focused beam is useful.

Our LED spot light range includes COB, flexible and compact spotlights, allowing you to choose a product based on the type of light direction and installation you need.

What Is an LED Spot Light?

An LED spot light is a light fixture that produces a focused beam and directs it towards a selected area.

Unlike a panel light, which is designed to provide broader illumination, a spotlight is usually chosen when you want attention on one particular part of a room.

For example, a spotlight can be useful for highlighting a painting, bookshelf, décor piece or display shelf, while your main ceiling light continues to illuminate the rest of the room.

Types of LED Spot Lights

COB LED Spot Lights

COB, or Chip on Board, is a way of arranging multiple LED chips closely together on a single board.

The LED COB Spot Light is available in 3W, 6W, 9W and 12W variants, with Warm White, Natural White and Cool White options. It uses a 40° beam angle and provides up to 30° swivel adjustment, allowing the light to be directed towards a particular area.

It can be considered for false-ceiling accents, display areas, artwork and other spaces where focused lighting is required.

Flexible LED Spot Lights

A flexible spotlight is useful when you want to change the direction of the light manually.

The Flexi LED Spot Light is a 3W model with a 20° beam angle, 210-lumen output and a 360° flexible arm. It is available in Warm White, Natural White and Cool White.

This makes it useful for applications such as a reading area, bedside lighting, wall art or a feature that may need to be highlighted from a specific direction.

Compact LED Spot Lights

Compact spotlights can be useful when you need focused lighting in a smaller opening or want a less prominent fixture.

The Eternal Vivid LED Spot Light is a 2W model designed for a 1-inch cutout. It is available in six colour options and includes 2.5KV surge protection and a 24-month warranty.

It can be considered for smaller focus points, decorative applications and selected areas of a home or office.

Where Can You Use LED Spot Lights?

For Living Rooms

Spotlights can be used to draw attention to artwork, décor, a plant corner, display shelves or another feature in the living room.

For flexible positioning, the Flexi LED Spot Light can be considered because its arm can be moved through 360°.

For a ceiling-based focused light, the LED COB Spot Light can be considered where its installation requirements and beam characteristics suit the setup.

For Bedrooms

Spotlights can be useful around reading areas, feature walls or selected décor rather than replacing the bedroom's main light.

For a bedside reading application, the Flexi LED Spot Light can be considered because the flexible arm allows the light to be aimed towards the reading area.

For softer decorative lighting, choose the colour temperature and product style according to the room's overall lighting.

For Kitchens

A spotlight can provide focused illumination over a selected area such as a counter, shelf or display zone.

Choose according to the installation type and required beam. The LED COB Spot Light provides a 40° focused beam and is available across several wattages, allowing you to select a suitable variant for the particular application.

For Display Shelves and Cabinets

A focused spotlight can help draw attention to displayed objects.

For small accent points, the Eternal Vivid LED Spot Light can be considered. For stronger focused lighting and directional control, the LED COB Spot Light offers multiple wattages and up to 30° adjustment.

For Artwork and Wall Décor

Choose a light that can be directed towards the feature rather than simply illuminating the whole room.

The Flexi LED Spot Light is particularly useful when you want to aim the light manually, while the COB option can be considered when you need a stronger focused ceiling spotlight.

How to Choose the Right LED Spot Light

There is no single wattage or spotlight design that is right for every space.

The choice depends on the area being highlighted, desired brightness, beam angle, mounting arrangement, distance from the subject, ceiling or wall setup and the surrounding lighting.

1. Decide what you want to highlight

First decide whether the spotlight is for:

  • Artwork or décor

  • Display shelves

  • Reading

  • A feature wall

  • A work area

  • General accent lighting

For example, a flexible spotlight can work well where you may want to redirect the light, while a COB spotlight can be more suitable when you need a focused ceiling beam.

2. Choose wattage based on the lighting need

Do not assume that a higher wattage is always better.

For example, the Eternal Vivid is 2W, the Flexi is 3W, and the LED COB Spot Light is available from 3W to 12W.

A 2W or 3W option may be suitable for a small accent or reading area, while a higher-output COB variant can be considered where stronger focused illumination is required.

The right choice should be based on the complete lighting setup rather than wattage alone.

3. Look at lumens as well as wattage

Wattage tells you how much electrical power the fixture uses. Lumens indicate the amount of light produced.

The Flexi LED Spot Light provides 210 lumens at 3W. The COB range provides 240 lumens at 3W, 510 lumens at 6W, 765 lumens at 9W and 1,020 lumens at 12W.

This makes lumen output useful when comparing variants for different lighting needs.

4. Consider beam angle

Beam angle affects how broadly the light spreads.

The LED COB Spot Light uses a 40° beam, while the Flexi LED Spot Light uses a narrower 20° beam.

A narrower beam can help create a more concentrated highlight, while a wider beam can cover a broader area.

5. Check whether you need adjustable lighting

If the target area can change, an adjustable spotlight may be useful.

The LED COB Spot Light supports up to 30° adjustment, while the Flexi model has a 360° flexible arm.

Choose based on how much control you need over the direction of the light.

6. Check the installation requirement

Before buying, verify the required cutout or mounting arrangement.

For example, the Eternal Vivid requires a 1-inch cutout, while the COB model specifies a 52 mm cutout.

Do not select a spotlight based only on its visible size. Confirm the installation dimensions of the exact model and variant.

7. Choose the right colour

  • Warm White creates a warmer, softer appearance.

  • Natural White gives a balanced everyday look.

  • Cool White provides a brighter, crisper appearance.

The COB and Flexi spotlights offer Warm White, Natural White and Cool White options, while Eternal Vivid provides a wider selection of colours for decorative applications.

Can LED Spot Lights Be Used With Other Lights?

Yes. Spotlights are often more useful when they have a specific role rather than being the only light source in a room.

For example, you can use:

  • A panel or ceiling light for broad room illumination.

  • A spotlight to highlight artwork, décor or a display shelf.

  • A wall light for another layer of decorative or functional lighting.

  • A strip light for indirect or cove lighting.

This creates a more flexible lighting setup because each fixture handles a different lighting requirement.

LED Spot Lights for Ceiling Lighting

Spotlights can work well on ceilings when you want focused illumination rather than broad, uniform light.

Before installation, check:

  • Mounting type

  • Cutout size

  • Beam angle

  • Wattage

  • Lumen output

  • Ceiling height

  • Distance from the area being highlighted

The LED COB Spot Light can be considered for ceiling-focused applications where its 52 mm cutout and other specifications fit the installation.

For smaller openings, the Eternal Vivid uses a 1-inch cutout.
